Becoming a Client

We can provide you with a fee-based consultancy service, which will cover the following:

• A thorough review of your existing portfolio and the preparation of a detailed report
• Negotiation of claims with your insurance company, on your behalf

Alternatively, we can simply act as your insurance broker, providing the following services:

• Report writing: a review including recommendations
• Implementation: according to the actions plan we subsequently agree
• Broking: selection the best insurer to underwrite your portfolio

Risk management: risk assessment to establish whether the potential for loss, damage or injury can be reduced or avoided and, ultimately, how an insurance portfolio should be structured in order to achieve the necessary protection

Claim handling

To ensure that your policy works for you, it is essential that your claims are handled effectively. We arrange the presentation of information to the insurer and negotiate with the insurance company or loss adjuster.

Adjusting cover

Businesses evolve and grow and we ensure that your insurance programme has the flexibility to adjust to changes as they occur. Many businesses require frequent reviews to keep pace with change and developments in the insurance market. We will 'review and recommend' as often as you wish.

Annual review

We review the insurance market annually and prepare recommendations for change before our annual renewal meeting. As part of this review procedure, we also help many of our clients to develop a Disaster Recovery Plan, which helps companies respond to disaster in an organised and effective manner.

Charges

Traditionally, brokers are remunerated through insurance company commission. We can offer you an alternative fee-based service in which you pay the premium net of commission. The fee can either be calculated on a time basis or set as a fixed annual fee. (It is not possible to estimate claim-handling charges in advance and claim handling will be charged separately.)
